Try this simple 3-step mindful breathing exercise:
Inhale deeply through your nose for 4 counts.
Hold gently for 4 counts.
Exhale slowly through your mouth for 6 counts.
Repeat 5 cycles. You may notice your shoulders drop, your heartbeat slow, and your thoughts soften — a clear signal your nervous system is moving from stress into calm.
