We all carry stories, expectations, baggage and regrets that weigh us down. The trouble is, when you cling to what has served it's purpose in your life, there’s little room for new energy to flow in.
Releasing is not about loss — it’s about creating space for freedom. Think of it as setting down a heavy bag you’ve carried for too long. Instantly lighter. Instantly freer.
Here are 5 ways to practise release:
Write down what you’re ready to let go of and safely burn or tear the paper.
Declutter one small area of your home and notice how spacious it feels.
Repeat the affirmation: I release what no longer serves my highest good.
Exhale deeply, imagining tension leaving your body with your breath.
Forgive yourself for one past mistake, recognising that growth came from it.
Release is a choice — and often one you’ll need to make daily. But with each act of letting go, you remind yourself that you are worthy of lightness and new beginnings.
