Here’s my go-to green juice & why:
Spinach – promotes healthy eye-sight and weightloss, reduces blood sugar, has lots of folate (B vitamin that promotes formation of red blood cells), is an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties
Banana - helps to lower blood pressure, reduces the risk of developing asthma and heart disease, moderates blood sugar levels and has antioxidant properties
Green apple – a natural anti-ageing fruit with hair strengthening properties that promotes digestion, is high in fibre and good for the heart
Chia seeds – great for reducing inflammation and high cholesterol, high in fibre, protein and antioxidants
Green tea matcha – promotes weight loss and increases focus and concentration
Water / Coconut water – both are hydrating, whilst coconut water helps prevent tummy bugs
Turmeric - natural anti-inflammatory properties that boost the body's own antioxidant defences, can reduce the spread of cancer cells, promotes brain health (dash a bit of black pepper in too to improve the absorption of curcumin in).
