What Continues? My New Home for Articles on Women, Identity & the Patterns We Carry

What are we carrying because we consciously chose it — and what are we carrying simply because it became normal before we ever thought to question it?
The meeting ends, but you’re still replaying one comment hours later.
Someone asks you for something and “of course” leaves your mouth before you’ve checked whether you actually have room for it.
You say “it’s fine” — then continue the conversation in your head later that evening.
You sit in the car for five minutes before going inside.
Completely ordinary moments.
But sometimes those ordinary moments reveal something much bigger about how we work, lead, love, parent and live.
They can show us what we’ve learned to carry. What we’ve normalised. What we may have inherited from the women before us. And what the people coming after us may be learning simply by watching us.
That’s the conversation I’m exploring in my new publication, What Continues?
For women questioning what shaped us, choosing what serves us — and deciding what we pass forward.
My new articles now live on Substack, where I’m exploring the moments and patterns hiding in plain sight across women’s lives — from attention, work and relationships to identity, inherited expectations and the roles we move between every day.
Because when you’re constantly moving between tasks, decisions and roles, it’s easy to miss the patterns hiding inside completely ordinary moments.
And when we begin to notice them, we get to ask a different question:
What do I actually want to continue?
If these are conversations you want to be part of, come and join me on What Continues?
It’s free to subscribe, and new articles will be sent directly to you.
